Oceans Search for Hope Last summer (2025) we were fortunate enough to have a visit from Daniel Bichsel and Oceans Search for Hope, who created this amazing film about Dr Heike Vester and Ocean Sounds’ work. Daniel expressed that he wanted to create this video to give the work Ocean Sounds is doing for the marine ecosystem more visibility. Particularly, noise pollution is such an importtant, but often overlooked, issue for marine mammals and showing the people behind the work, people like Heike, who dedicate so much energy to keeping these ecosystems healthy, is something very important. On a personal note, Daniel states “We wanted to support Heike and Ocean Sounds with a high-quality video, because NGO budgets are often focused.”We therefore give many thanks to Daniel and OCEANS hope for this generous opportunity to show the work we, and especially Dr Vester, do.
